Goodbye Red Bullet, Hello Cara The Titan!

Well lets start at the beginning.  On November 7th Justin was driving to work (at Sitel) he was on the loop about to exit on Knickerbocker. It was almost 8 am and the exit was backed up because of the stoplight at Knickerbocker and the access road. So Justin slowed down a little to get into the exit lane when the car behind him slammed into him. After pulling over he called me and told me he had gotten into a wreck, and he would call me to come pick him up once the police got there to write the report. So he called me back a few minutes later and said to head over. When I got there I couldn't believe it was so bad! The car looked totalled!

So I took him to work while they towed his car away. I went to House of Faith BBC and then picked him up from work and we went to Concho Collision to clean out his car. We got the police report the following day, and Justin called the other guys insurance company to file the claim. It took 6 days after the accident to even get a rental car. After that it took a little over 2 weeks to get the money for the claim. So after lots of unanswered phone calls, lots of stressed nights, and a little less money that we were hoping for, we received the claim money yesterday and headed to Jim Bass Ford and bought this beauty!
Justin is sooo happy to finally have a vehicle! And even more excited to have a pickup that he has wanted for a loooong time! I'm just happy the stresses of insurance claims, rental cars, sharing a car, and buying a car, are done! I'm am also very happy that my hubby finally got his dream car! :) And very thankful that other than a little whiplash he is fine, and that we got a greeeat deal on the pickup(about 3500 less than blue book value) So thats the story! Now onto regular life, less stress and my favorite time of year, CHRISTmas! <3

Our Week

My first boring no picture post boo. Haha. Just wanted to share our week. Mon-Wed. was just the normal School, work, and HOF for both of us. I was off on Thursday but Justin had to work. I cleaned and did laundry and relaxed and was surprised to see Justin home at 5ish(he works till 10pm) He said he had been having chest pains again(which is a completely different thing you could be praying for). So after awhile he was feeling better so we decided to make a date night of it. We went and ate at Olive Garden and then went to see the movie Taken 2. The movie was really really good and it was a really fun night for just the two of us to spend some time together. Friday morning everything was normal. I went to work at 10 and was sneezing alot. I wasn't sure why but didn't think much of it. By 2 I did not feel good. I had a runny nose and a headache, i'm pretty sure I had a slight fever and I could NOT STOP SNEEZING! It was crazy. I got off at 5:30 and came home and took a nap. We had absolutely no food in the house so Justin and I went grocery shopping and bought a Digorino Pizza for supper since I didn't feel like cooking. I slept horrible that night moving from the couch to the recliner to bed and back again. I couldn't breathe if I slept in bed I didn't sleep well in the chair and my back hurt on the couch. Saturday morning I got up about 8:30(I was supposed to be at work at 11) I started doing my morning routine but felt terrible. I knew I could work if I had to but that it would just take 3 times as long to get over this cold. So about 9 I texted my boss(my first time to EVER call in sick I felt horrible!) and asked if there was any way someone could cover for me. She is awesome and said she would work something out. I also had to text a friend and tell her I couldn't babysit her son that night(which broke my heart because I love him and love babysitting him and I hated to tell her no) I spent the day sleeping and watching TV and doing almost nothing else. Justin worked from 2:30-10 and we went to bed about 11. I slept much better but decided against going to church on Sunday. Again spent the day at home napping and watching TV but I did feel much better by Sunday afternoon and made Lasagna for supper and put in it the fridge until Justin got home. This morning I feel a ton better! I'm so glad I decided to rest because I know that otherwise this cold would just drag on for weeks. Anyways thats about all the interestingness going on in our lives lately.

Double Suprise Birthday

About a month ago I started planning a surprise birthday party for Justin. It was going to be a Movie Night theme and we were going to watch a movie in the backyard. I talked to Matt, Michael and Josh(Justin's 3 best friends) about taking him to see a movie while I decorated the house/yard, people got there and then we would surprise him when he got home. It all was going as planned until Matt told me that Justin felt bad about going to see a movie without me on my day off and just a few days before my birthday. So Matt and I decided that to avoid suspicion it would be best if I went to the movie with them. So we went to the movie and came home and walked in the house to hear "DOUBLE SUPRISE!!" And see these banners.
Yup, with the masterminding middleman skills of our friend Matt. Justin and I had planned surprise birthday parties for each other the same day. And similar themes. Justin decided to go with a Hunger Games theme. Which went great with my Movie Night theme. So we ate pizza and pop corn in the back yard and watched the Hunger Games with friends. It was great!
I was too lazy to flip the picture :/

Candy, Oreos(Justins Fave) and a Hunger Games cake

Mindi and Annie did a great job decorating!!

Kool-Aid popcorn. Look it up on Pinterest. Make it. Its amazing!

Concessions! Gotta love Cricut!

Movie time!!
It was a great fun night. Thanks to all our friends who made it happen! Oh and just so you know, Justin and I planned the party on the same night by ourselves so then Matt worked out the details so they happened at the same time :)

Family Weekend at the Lake

Last weekend we went to the lake with my family, Justin and I drove out after he got off work at midnight on Friday. Annie & Kellen and Justin & I stayed in the bunkhouse my parents just finished building. Its super nice. Saturday morning we got up about 8 and packed up and headed to Lake Ivey. Once we got there we payed for a campsite, then Dad and the boys went down to the boat ramp to put the boat in the water and Mom and the girls went to the campsite and got stuff set up. We always go to the same camp spot. We call it our spot haha.
 The boys pulling in

Amy being cute

Stella being a Monkey :)

After we set up camp a few of us went out and skiied. Then we came back and ate lunch while another group went out. (only 6 people can be on the boat at a time) I didn't get any pictures of anyone skiing because only Kellen, Mom, Jimmie and I skiied and either I was driving, I was skiing or I didn't have my camera. But heres some pics of the tubers throughout the day.
This was close to the end of the day, I had just thrown Justin & Kellen off the tube and Justin had a headache oops sorry babe!
Patty, Stella and Michael on the tube

Annie Patty and Kellen. Dad gave them a hard ride lol

Our cute little Zoey had fun on the boat lol she just sat there and chilled :)

I pulled Dad, Kellen and Justin lol they look scared Muahahaha
Dad drove most of the time :)

Kellen driving Joy, Jimmie and Matthew.

We were going to go back to the lake on Sunday but most of us were too tired and sunburnt. So Dad, Kellen, Joshua, Jimmie, Stella, Michael and Matthew went back for a few hours and the rest of us napped, played "Just Dance" on the Wii and just hung out. When they got back Jimmie was very excited to tell us that while learning to ski today he got up the first try! Go Jimmie!! That night everyone from church came over and we played Minute to Win It. It was super fun! Thanks Bobby and Whitney! Then we ate and swam and hung out before Kellen, Justin, Annie and I headed home to do homework since Mom and Dads internet wasn't working. It was a great weekend! :) Can't wait to do it again!

Sea World

Justin and I went to Sea World on Sunday as a little end of summer mini vacation. It was awesome to just get away for the day and have some fun! We left the house at 6 am and drove to San Antonio, we got to Sea World at about 9:45 so by the time we got out of the car and walked inside we only had to wait in line for about 10 minutes before the park opened.
As soon as we got inside it started sprinkling so we went into a gift shop for a few minutes until it stopped. Then we went to Dolphin Cove to feed the dolphins. This was probably my favorite part of the whole day.
Arent they just so cute?? After the dolphins we went to the Shark exhibit, which also has tons of fish and sealife. It was neat!
Justin looking at the "Nemo's"

Stingrays look so neat when they are swimming

SHARK! :)

Then we went to the Sea Lion, Walrus and Otter show.

The guy was looking for his girlfriend, but couldn't find her. So he found a new one instead. Lol

Cute little otter!

Detective Seamore was trying to figure out who stole the fish.

Clyde

Seamore "Questioning a suspect"

It was the walrus eating them!
Next was the Shamu show. Super neat! God created some awesome things! And to see them jump and do tricks is just amazing.

Then we took a break for lunch, when we came back we went to the "Azul" Show which was Beluga whales, Pacific White Sided dolphins and some pretty amazing divers, swimmers, and stuntmen!

Its hard to tell from the picture but 3 guys would get on the swing and swing it super high then the one in front  would jump off, flip, and dive into the water. Crazy!

The very last guy swung the swing all the way around the pole.

The beluga what threw her out of the water with his nose.

Then we went and saw the Penguins

After the penguins, we rode the Steel Eel, Great White, and Journey to Atlantis. Then fed the dolphins one more time before heading home

Aren't they just so sweet??

Perfect way to end the day

Justin fed his and then tried to pet it, but they were too smart for that, you have to hold the fish, pet them,

and then feed it to them lol
It was a great day, and great to just get away by ourselves and have some fun :)
