Sea World

Justin and I went to Sea World on Sunday as a little end of summer mini vacation. It was awesome to just get away for the day and have some fun! We left the house at 6 am and drove to San Antonio, we got to Sea World at about 9:45 so by the time we got out of the car and walked inside we only had to wait in line for about 10 minutes before the park opened.
As soon as we got inside it started sprinkling so we went into a gift shop for a few minutes until it stopped. Then we went to Dolphin Cove to feed the dolphins. This was probably my favorite part of the whole day.
Arent they just so cute?? After the dolphins we went to the Shark exhibit, which also has tons of fish and sealife. It was neat!
Justin looking at the "Nemo's"

Stingrays look so neat when they are swimming

SHARK! :)

Then we went to the Sea Lion, Walrus and Otter show.

The guy was looking for his girlfriend, but couldn't find her. So he found a new one instead. Lol

Cute little otter!

Detective Seamore was trying to figure out who stole the fish.

Seamore "Questioning a suspect"

It was the walrus eating them!
Next was the Shamu show. Super neat! God created some awesome things! And to see them jump and do tricks is just amazing.

Then we took a break for lunch, when we came back we went to the "Azul" Show which was Beluga whales, Pacific White Sided dolphins and some pretty amazing divers, swimmers, and stuntmen!

Its hard to tell from the picture but 3 guys would get on the swing and swing it super high then the one in front  would jump off, flip, and dive into the water. Crazy!

The very last guy swung the swing all the way around the pole.

The beluga what threw her out of the water with his nose.

Then we went and saw the Penguins

After the penguins, we rode the Steel Eel, Great White, and Journey to Atlantis. Then fed the dolphins one more time before heading home

Aren't they just so sweet??

Perfect way to end the day

Justin fed his and then tried to pet it, but they were too smart for that, you have to hold the fish, pet them,

and then feed it to them lol
It was a great day, and great to just get away by ourselves and have some fun :)

God is great!

I've been thinking a lot lately about what I want to do in the future. Justin is in school to be a teacher, I know I want to be a stay at home mom once we have kids if its financially possible. I've felt a lot of pressure to go to college even though I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, or if it would even be worth it to go for four years and spend thousands of dollars and then be a stay at home mom as soon as I graduate. I was feeling really torn about what to do and wanting to please everyone but also do what was best for me. I was just kind of out of it all day thinking about it. I was shopping in the mall and saw a friend I hadn't seen in awhile, an older woman I look up to and respect very much. She asked how Justin and I were doing and asked if I was in school. I started to say the usual "Oh I'm waiting until he's done." (which isn't really true.) but then changed my mind and said "You know, I really don't know what I want to do. I'm still kind of deciding, I may go to school when he's done, or I may just not go to school and be a stay at home mom." She looked at me and said "You know what? There is nothing wrong with that, staying home with my kids was the best decision I ever made." That one little comment just completely made my day, I was amazed at how God works and how he had worked that into our conversation, and how I had run into her out of the blue, and how she probably didn't know and will never know how much that meant to me. God is awesome! :)

Annie's Shower

Well, I finally decided to get a blog, mostly just to document things that happen in our life. Like a family diary but stored online so I can always access it :) So first things first. Annie's Bridal shower which was on July 28th. If was a fun day and most importantly Annie received many awesome gifts to start her new life with Kellen :)
We started by eating (of course) and drinking lemonade punch. Yum!

Then we played a game, I had asked Kellen some questions and Annie had to answer them the same or she had to chew a piece of gum.

She had alot of gum by the end lol :)

Then she opened all her gifts

All in all it was a great shower and we had an awesome turnout. Thanks to everyone that came! :)

My mom and aunt showed up in the same dress lol
